Welcome to President, Charles Arroyave!

La Salle Academy is excited to welcome our new President, Charles Arroyave! 

Charles Arroyave is a dedicated Catholic educator and school leader with more than 18 years’ experience serving students and families in Philadelphia. He earned both his Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Chestnut Hill College. No stranger to the Lasallian tradition, Charles is a graduate of West Catholic High School.

Charles spent 10 years at Holy Cross Catholic School, where he served as a middle school math teacher and helped foster academic excellence, faith formation, and student growth. He later joined St. Rose of Lima School, where he served for 8 years as an Assistant Principal before becoming Principal. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to the mission of Catholic education and to creating school communities where every child can thrive.

As a leader within the Independence Mission Schools network, Charles has promoted a transformative Catholic education that develops students intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually while offering children of all faiths the opportunity to learn in an academically rigorous environment and grow in a culture of God’s love, setting them on the path to a promising future.

Charles is married to Jocelyn Arroyave, a registered nurse and graduate of Little Flower High School, and together they are the proud parents of Tatiana (Little Flower HS 2026), Carlos (Roman Catholic HS), and Antonio (St. Malachy). Guided by his faith, family values, and passion for education, Charles continues to inspire students, support educators, and strengthen the communities he serves.
