4th Grade

    September

This year the 4th-grade has set up and put in place many amazing goals. These goals include staying healthy by following safety guidelines, such as wearing masks and social distancing. Completing assignments correctly on time, both at home and in school. Using our technology for schoolwork. Also, one of our daily goals is to continue to grow in faith and love as disciples of Jesus.

“Virtue, Liberty, and Independence!” The 4th-grade curriculum takes a deep dive into learning about Pennsylvania. Our students are learning about the many natural resources and the history of Pennsylvania. In Science class, they have been examining nutrition, such as understanding food labels, identifying healthy eating, and differentiating the different food groups. They took time to focus on PA farms and products. Pennsylvania has a rich history and a strong farming industry; it is fun working Math, Writing, and Reading into the learning about Pennsylvania.
