Ms. Mora-Mickens graduated from LSA in 2015 and received a diploma from Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School in 2019. From there, she attended Bryn Mawr College where she received a Bachelors of Arts in History and later went on to receive a Masters of Science in Education in Secondary Social Studies at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. Ms. Mora-Mickens will be teaching at The Shipley School in Bryn Mawr, PA.

While reflecting on her time at LSA, Ms. Mora-Mickens is grateful for the opportunities and experience LSA gave her, but “Most importantly, I [Ms. Mora-Mickens] learned the joy of lifelong learning, which I now carry into my own classrooms. I strive to teach my students the same valuable lessons I received at LSA,” Ms. Mora-Mickens said.
