About Sr. Margaret Birtwistle:
Started at La Salle Academy in 2010.
Education:
- Bachelor’s in English from Chestnut Hill College
- Master’s in Educational Administration from Fordham University
Teaching Experience:
- Began teaching in 1968 as an 8th grade teacher
- Principal of several schools in New Jersey, including St. Ambrose School
- Director of Admissions at Chestnut Hill College (14 years)
- Coordinated the Neumann Scholars Program for the Connelly Foundation
- Began working at LSA in 2010 as Graduate Support Director
Fun Facts:
- While she loves reading, Sr. Margaret’s favorite book is the Bible.
- She lives with five other Sisters of Saint Joseph and is primarily inspired by her mother!
