About Mrs. Megan G. Thomson: 

Started at La Salle Academy in 2007

Education: 

• Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Fordham University
• Master’s in Urban Education and Policy from Temple University 

Work Experience: 

• Taught at St. Sabina Academy on the Southside of Chicago as a volunteer teacher with the Americorps program 
• Taught at the Ascension of Our Lord of Kensington 
• Finished her teaching career and began working at LSA in as Development Director

Fun Facts:

• Mrs. Thomson and her husband, AJ, have four daughters and volunteer as coaches and helpers with their daughter’s school!
• Her favorite part of La Salle Academy is that every decision is guided by the mission and that the Board of Trustees are an active, involved group!
